Luzhitsy village

It is located in Ust-Luga rural settlement in Kingisepp District of the Leningrad Region. The village takes its name from Luzhitsa river which it is located on. Part of the village residents represent the ancient Vod Finno-Ugric National ethos, who's first mentioning dates back to almost a thousand years ago. Today the remaining Vod ethos live only in two places of Kingisepp District: Krakolye Quarter and Luzhitsy village, amounted to 100 persons.

RusChemAlliance actively participates in social and environmental projects, popularization of indigenous people culture and traditional crafts in Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region among the general public. Vod culture museum, located in Luzhitsy, had been restored with the company's participation.
